Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. German Shepherd/Heeler Mix
BEN is a male pup of mixed heritage abandoned at an urban apartment complex. We estimate his date of birth to be mid-August, 2012. He is extraordinarily handsome with his thick coffee-colored velour coat. The muzzle, ears and tail look German Shepherd and dappled markings on his front legs suggest possible Blue Heeler ancestry. He will be a fairly large boy judging from the size of his paws, perhaps 60+ lb. when fully matured, and will have a medium length coat. As of this writing (11/2/12), he stands about 22 inches at the shoulder. He is smart, friendly, confident, affectionate and plays well with other dogs. He knows how to walk on a leash, sleeps in a crate at night without soiling and is about 80% house-trained. He does well using the "doggie door". Ben has been de-wormed and has had his first two sets of puppy shots. He is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. This pup is currently located in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted. For more information please email kelley.aasr@gmail.com.
