12/10/11 Reggie is a very sweet, loving, big boy who is really in need of a foster home. Reggie is completely deaf and needs a home with a secure fenced area, or an owner who is committed to leash walking him, for his safety, as he would not hear cars or other dangers. Reggie is housetrained, although he may have some accidents until he learns your schedule and routine. Reggie bonds very quickly and when he bonds with you - he is 100% loyal and committed to you. He wants to be by his humans side at all times - he has no idea how large he is and would love to be a lap dog! But, he weighs 70-80lbs, so you would need a large lap! He also likes to sleep in bed with his foster mom. Reggie is currently in a foster home with several other dogs and has been good with all of them until very recently. He is not aggressive, but he is very jealous when his foster mom gives attention to her other foster dogs. He has never hurt one of them, but he tends to just pin them down, as if to say "That's my momma - stay away from her!" For this reason, I am trying to find another foster home for him, where he can be the only dog or perhaps one of two dogs - the other dog would need to be very submissive. Reggie is a wonderful dog despite this behavior and he will make a very loyal and loving companion to the right family. Reggie is also terrific with children and gets along w/ kids of all ages and sizes. For more info, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com More about Reggie - URGENT!
