PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Anyone looking to adopt a small potato?
Princess Poppy showed up in someone's yard a few weeks back. No one seemed to know where she came from. We had a small glimmer of hope when we scanned her for a microchip and she had one. However, when we made contact with the person the chip was registered to, she said Poppy wasn't her dog, she only took her to get the microchip for a friend who had since given her away. This person lives in another state and no longer has contact with Princess Poppy's former owner. We don't know if that's the whole story and we will probably never know. What we do know is this: she is perfection. Princess Poppy is wonderful with other dogs (the resident dogs at her foster home range in size from 5lbs to 60 lbs, she she's great with all of them), she is fantastic with kids (3 yr old in her foster home) and she doesn't bother the resident cats. Her one and only flaw when she came into rescue was that she was rough when taking treats from my hand, but her foster family has worked diligently to teach her to be gentle and she has mastered the art of taking treats gently. To be fair, she was starving when she came to us, and she is now realizing that there is plenty of food and she will always get treats. She is very smart and learns everything quickly. This little girl is just everything you could want- she will cuddle with you and will keep you laughing all day with her silly antics! She is 1 1/2 years old according to her microchip info, and she weighs about 35lbs. We have had her fully vetted and she is heartworm negative. We believe she is an American Bully. This website doesn’t have American Bully as an option, hence she’s listed as an APBT/American Bulldog mix. 
Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
