10/20/24 Willie (Nelson) He’s as cool as the country singer, just a lot younger and he doesn’t smoke
Ok but really, this pup is cute!! I’m still getting to know him as he just arrived yesterday. Estimated birthday is 6/5/24. No clue what his breed is, mom was mixed and dad is unknown. Heinz 57 is my guess. I don’t have a current weight on him yet but full grown I’m guessing medium sized/50ish pounds.
He likes to be picked up and held. He’s very sweet. Being on a leash is new to him, so we’re working on that.
Given that I just got him, I can’t give a good answer on his house training just yet but being a puppy, it’s something he needs to work on obviously. I haven’t had him in a crate yet. I may or may not have crashed with him on the couch last night …puppy snuggles!
He loves my other dogs and is not intimidated by them. He was previously fostered on a horse farm so I assume my Great Dane mix seems small to him There were all kinds of other animals on the farm too and he was great with everyone. I am most certain he’d be just fine with cats. He is just a baby after all!
He has gone on a couple short car rides today and rode like a champ! He “worked” in the office with me today for a few hours and was very well behaved.
He hasn’t been around kids but he’s a sweetie plus he’s just a baby; I think he’d love kids.
He is neutered UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
