About Roger

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog

Roger is a sweet little Dachshubd mix. Roger and his siblings came to rescue from a very bad situation which I can't describe in detail here. I will only say that it was terrible and they would have died without intervention. We do not know what they are mixed with, but Roger looks very much like a Dachshund. He is the smallest of the litter, weighing only about 7 lbs now at about 3.5 months old. We believe he will be around 20-25 lbs when grown. Roger enjoys affection as well as play time. He is super fast on those short little stubby legs and boy does he start BUSY! He loves to play with other puppies, but will also entertain himself with toys if needed. He is very energetic and would do well with an active family who will play with him often. He is good with kids, other dogs, and cats. He has not had the opportunity to learn housetraining yet. Our rescue was full when this situation arose, and our only option was to keep these puppies in an outdoor pen. So they have a lot to learn, but they are young and easily trainable. This little boy is just adorable and so much fun!
