PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

6/9/23 Loki is a 4 yr old neutered male lab mix, weighing approx. 75-80lbs. Loki was an owned dog who was never socialized and has lived his life in a small pen at the back of his owner's property with little interaction from his owners. He loves to play with any toys, especially balls, and he LOVES water. He will dive into any pool or puddle he finds. He has never had any training but is very food motivated so that should help.  He is a nice dog but gets over excited and will jump on people trying to get their attention. This is mostly due to not getting the attention he needed throughout his life up to now. Loki is currently in our paws in prison program learning the basics! We believe that with some training and learning some basic manners/obedience, he will make a great family member, even for a family with kids if he can just break the habit of jumping! He is surprisingly agile for a big boy!  Loki is unfortunately heartworm positive so he is undergoing treatment and will be ready for adoption once that is complete.  Neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccines. 

Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
