PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Hank 2 (because we already have 1 Hank listed)
Hank is a stunningly handsome 1 year old Golden Retriever who was abandoned by his owner. He is a very friendly, sweet boy who would benefit greatly from a strong handle who has the patience, time, and energy to put into training him. He is a great dog but had never received any training so he is rambunctious! He is a very high energy dog and very strong. When Hank initially greets people, he will "bite" and pull on clothes. He is just mouthing and not being aggressive in any way, however, he's fairly rough because he is young and strong. His foster mom is working on this with him. Due to the mouthing, we are recommending a home without small children as his mouthing could easily hurt them (not on purpose). Though we do not require fenced yards for all of our dogs, we do want Hank to go to a home with a physically fenced yard. He also needs to work on leash walking-he pulls hard though his foster mom is working on this with him! Hank is a smart, eager to please boy who is very receptive to training, he just needs guidance and consistency. He has the overall demeanor of a Golden but just has some things he needs to work on! Hank loves all people and has done very well with other dogs, although he does seem to prefer the lady dogs to the other boys. That may change now that he has been neutered. Hank currently weighs about 70 lbs, and will probably bulk up more as he matures. You will not find a more handsome Golden! Hank is house trained and crate trained, utd on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and neutered.
Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
