PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Rocco is a 7-8mo old Aussie Poo who weighs about 8-10 lbs. He is a very sweet little boy who really needs an adopter who is experienced with herding breeds. While he got the appearance of a Poodle, he got the herding instincts of an Australian Shepherd. He loves to cuddle but will also nip, trying to herd his people. He was adopted from us a free weeks ago but he is not doing well as the only dog so his adopter has asked us to find him a home with another dog. Rocco is completely house trained and crate trained. Due to his tendency to nip and herd, he is not a candidate for a home with young children. Rocco is very affectionate and incredibly smart, picking up on new concepts very quickly. He will be a great dog, but needs the right type of home. Neutered and UTD on vaccine.  He is currently located in New England. For adoption application,

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
