Wirehaired Fox Terrier : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
Bella is a Wire Hair Fox Terrier who was surrendered along with her brother Bandit. Their owner got married and the wife wouldn't allow them to live inside. So they had lived out doors for quite a while and were severely matted. So much so that they couldn't even open their mouths all the way. Bandit has an injury to his leg (we believe its a gunshot wound) and will be healing for a little while, but Bella is available now. Although they were presented to us as a bonded pair, that is not true. In fact, Bella really needs a home as an only dog or with a dog larger than her who is a strong enough personality to not be bullied by her. She tends to bully Bandit and the other small dogs in her foster home. She LOVES people. She is all kisses and love with people of any gender or age (although she may not do great with toddler age kids grabbing at her). Bella is 6 years young, spayed and up to date on vaccinations and heartworm/flea/tick meds. She currently weighs 23lbs.
