PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Update 1/5/22: STILL AVAILABLE. It is so discouraging that Biddy has been in rescue so long. Please share and please consider giving her a home, even though she's a Pit mix. We know that's probably why she's still in rescue :( Biddy's foster mom is due to have a baby soon and we'd love to see Biddy adopted by then!! PLEASE SHARE THIS SWEET GIRL!

Our sweet Biddy has been in Rescue for about 7 months now. Biddy has some resource guarding with other dogs, however, it is easily managed and she gets along with the two dogs in her foster home just fine! She does get along with children but would be too hyper for any super young ones-maybe 3 and under is too young. She LOVES car rides, walks well on a harness, and loves to play with the dogs in her foster home. She knows basic commands, is crate trained and potty trained. Her resource guarding is ONLY with other dogs, she’s never shown any resource guarding with humans.
She’s about 1.5 years old, weighs approximately 40 pounds, spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, is considered a Lab/Weimaraner (per the shelter she was rescued from) mix but also appears to have some bully in her.

Biddy is located in Arkansas. Transport to the northeast is available. Adopter would need to be able to arrange for someone to pick her up from the transporter on a Friday at one of the following locations/times:
Harrisburg, PA 1:45 AM
Port Jervis, NJ 5AM
Southington, CT 8AM
East Hartford, CT 11AM

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
