Teddi is an almost 2 year old Labradoodle (dob 7/5/19). His mother was a golden Labrador retriever, and his father was a standard poodle. Information from Teddi’s parents: Teddi is a fantastic dog that has been a joy at most times to have in our family. He is full of energy, love, and excitement. Excellent with our three children and cat, but shows a lot of fear to new people he meets. He was received lots of training, including a few months of board and train. While there, he learned many incredible things. Through the training, it proved that Teddi loves to learn new skills and please people. Teddi loves to run and walk! Unfortunately, we live close to the road and had to put up an electric fence. I feel that he would benefit from living in an area where he can run free. Living close to the road has also seemed to cause some stress to him as the constant traffic bothers him. He does bark at the cars from time to time and does not look forward to any mail delivery service. Teddie is a special dog who requires a lot of attention. He could benefit from more training and owners who are committed to helping him overcome his fears. He would do best in a quiet home with people who are home more often than not. Unfortunately, we are not around a lot of dogs; he would benefit from slowly being socialized. He is very anxious and paces around the house often. He is very energetic and with more exercise, his anxious tendencies subside. I can not stress enough how amazingly loving he is with our family. We have tried to take him camping, but he barks and is not in love with being left on a lead. He loves car rides and playing ball. He is crate trained. He also needs to be groomed and does let us do it. I use quiet clippers, so the noise will not scare him.
