PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Please note - this dog is currently located in Arkansas. We list all of our available pets in the areas that we offer transport to. We must have an adoption commitment prior to transporting the dog out of state. We do our best to accurately describe each dog in our rescue. If for some reason the dog is not as described, you do have a week to contact us and you will get a refund of the adoption fee. We would then transfer the dog to a foster home in your area as soon as one is available. Meeting a dog prior to adopting would require you to come to Arkansas.

Hazel is ready for home of her own! Hazel is a beautiful, young adult, we believe Bull Mastiff mix. She weighs 85lbs. She is spayed and heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations. Hazel has gotten along well with the other dogs in our home but has limited interactions with them. We feel that she would do fine in a home with other dogs, with proper introduction and supervision. She is EXTREMELY strong and needs a strong owner. She will walk on leash but pulls hard so she could use some training on her leash manners. Hazel was abandoned when her previous owners moved, leaving her chained up outside with no access to food or water. Thankfully a neighbor alerted us and we were able to intervene. Hazel is protective of those she gets close to and she bonds hard. She would greatly benefit from some structured training and has great potential to be a loving, loyal family member. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
