PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

This puppy is located in Arkansas. He/She is listed in all of the states we offer transport to, but is physically located in Arkansas until adopted, at which time he will be transported out of state.

Gizmo was a breeder surrender. The breeder decided because of his long legs that he was a trash dog. The breeder was going to euthanize him bc they couldn't use him for a paycheck. When he came into rescue he had never been on grass or outside in the sun. He'd been housed in a pen in a metal building on a concrete pad with industrial fans to circulate the air. He has since learned to love playing in the yard. He loves other dogs and is even good with cats. Kids are a great playmate. He needs slow introductions as he's still kind of hand shy but he warms up really quickly with soft words and kind hands. We've had his cherry eye repaired. He's ready for a home where he can be a family member, not an employee with bad benefits.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
