PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
***This dog is currently located in Arkansas. He/She is listed in all the states we offer transport to or near. Transport is provided by www.heartsllc.com or www.alphadogtransport.com once there is an adopter ready to accept the dog. Meeting the dog prior to adopting is simply not possible, unless you want to come to Arkansas (we would be thrilled to have you, if you want to do some traveling!)Please check the websites referenced to see if one of our transporters offers a stop close to you. We do offer a refund and to take the dog back into rescue, if he/she is not as described or not a good fit for you, if you let us know within a week of receiving him/her. Please understand, we are listing our available dogs anywhere we can, to offer them the best chance of finding the right family and having a happy life filled with love.*** 7/17/19 This stunning girl is now available for adoption! Sadie is a Great Dane who came into rescue from a high kill shelter. She is a fantastic dog! She is 5 years old, completely house trained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. Sadie has done well here at my house. She seems to be fine with other submissive dogs but doesn't care for the super high energy dogs that want to jump all over her. She is a domanant personality, as most Danes are. But she does well with dogs who don't challenge her. She is EXTREMELY tall, even for a Dane. She is very loving and wants to be glued to her person. Sadie would do best in a home with no children or older children. As many Great Danes are, she is somewhat nervous natured so the noise and commotion that comes along with very young children may be stressful for her. For more info on adopting Sadie, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com More about SadieGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
