PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

6/3/19 These precious hound babies came to us from another rescue organization. They rescued their mama from a high kill shelter when she came in as a very pregnant stray. She gave birth to 4 beautiful baby girls shortly after the rescue took her from the shelter. once the puppies were weaned, that rescue asked us to take the puppies and find them homes, and the family who fostered mom is going to keep her. The babies are now about 8 weeks old, as of the time of this listing. Their mom is a large hound of some kind, weighing about 50lbs. I believe the babies will be at least her size, but probably larger. They are very big puppies. Much larger than the other puppies we have that are older than them. But it's hard to say what their adult size will be since we don't know what mama was bred with. Whatever the mix, the babies are very beautiful and some of the sweetest babies ever! They love to be held and cuddled and they are very social. They will be ready for their homes the weekend of 6/15. For more info, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
