Transport is provided by www.heartsllc.com or www.alphadogtransport.com once there is an adopter ready to accept the dog. Meeting the dog prior to adopting is simply not possible, unless you want to come to Arkansas (we would be thrilled to have you, if you want to do some traveling!)Please check the websites referenced to see if one of our transporters offers a stop close to you. We do offer a refund and to take the dog back into rescue, if he/she is not as described or not a good fit for you, if you let us know within a week of receiving him/her. Please understand, we are listing our available dogs anywhere we can, to offer them the best chance of finding the right family and having a happy life filled with love.*** 4/17/19 These beautiful babies came into rescue as strays. We were contacted by a lady who had a stray dog that delivered puppies under her porch. She had been feeding her and mom was just starting to wean the babies, when the lady heard a dog fight late one night. She went out and before she could break up the dogs, the mama was killed. She was probably trying to defend her babies and lost her life in the process. We knew we couldn't leave these precious babies to suffer the same fate. I am heart broken that we couldn't save their little mama but we have made her and her babies the promise that they will get the chance that she never had. They will get a real chance at being loved and having families of their own. They will not go hungry or lonely as she did. We don't know what breed mom or dad were, but some of the puppies have the double dew claws and fluffy coats of a Great Pyrenees, while others have shorter coats like a lab, and some resemble Shepherds. Their estimated date of birth is Feb 28, so they are about 7 weeks old now.
