2.3.19 Biscuit was adopted from as a young puppy, but through no fault of his own, is now looking for a new home. His current owner doesn't feel that he has enough time to spend with him. Biscuit is about 2 years old and weighs 40lbs. He is a sweet, happy boy, who has a lot of love to offer. He is med-high energy. He gets very excited when his family first arrives home from being gone all day, but after a game of tug or other activity, he is content to settle down and lie at their feet. Biscuit loves to chase squirrels so it's a must that his new family either has a fenced yard or can properly supervise him when he's outdoors. He loves to chase squirrels and could easily dart into traffic in his excitement, if not leashed or confined within a fenced area. Biscuit is highly intelligent and easily trained. He is very well house trained and has potential for more intensive training if his new family wants to do so. He is submissive and he does well with other dogs. He has not been around cats, but with his intense desire to chase squirrels, he probably would not be a good candidate for a home with cats. Although, with the right supervision and training, I'm sure he could learn. He can be a bit timid at first with new people, but quickly warms up and loves everyone. He has never shown any type of aggression (except, of course, to the squirrels!). Biscuit has so much potential and we are sad that he will have to make another transition into a new home, but we are confident that the right family is out there for him! Once he makes the adjustment, he will reward his new family with endless love and loyalty. Biscuit is currently located in RI.
