**KRUN11@SBCGLOBAL.NET IS THE CONTACT FOR THIS SWEET GIRL! ** *** CLAIRE is currently located in BENTON, ARKANSAS. Transportation is available to the NE US upon adoption. Please visit: http://www.uberdogart.com/ This coming weekend (10/21/16) is the 'COMBINED ROUTE' so click on that link, and see which stop would be the best one for you *** --------- CLAIRE'S BIRTHDAY IS June 12, 2016, and as of today, 10/18/16, she is a BEAUTIFUL loving 17 week old Black Labrador Retriever mix - she looks full Lab! Being as she was found with only her siblings, and no Mom - we do not know her exact breed. However - look how beautiful this girl is ! She is healthy and happy, such a great dog ! Looks full Lab to me! CLAIRE loves life. She and her sister, Cami, are the two babies that are still looking for their forever families. Their 3 siblings are all happy and snug in their wonderful forever homes. CLAIRE would make the perfect pet - she has a lot of energy, and would make a GREAT companion if you are a runner, walker, hiker - any outdoor activities? She adores! If you are up for a challenge? This girl can totally take you down, ha! CLAIRE is beautiful, for starters. She weighs around 30 pounds as of 10/18/16. We expect her to be maybe 60 pounds as an adult :) CLAIRE loves playing outdoors with the other dogs. She is also great when she is inside the house too. She is a normal little Lab puppy - all Labs are chewers until they are 2-3 years old, so keep all of your expensive leather shoes, purses and such out of her reach! CLAIRE loves every person that she meets. She does not have any issues whatsoever, BUT, she does adore attention, and sometimes demands attention. Basic training would be a great start for this little one, as she has a mindset all her own. She needs to know that YOU are her Alpha !! Dogs NEED this, they can not thrive correctly unless they totally know who their boss is. She can't help it. I'll share the pictures of the scars that were all over her sweet face, as if she were the main target of a gun full of shot; buckshot, pellets, beebees - a tactic meant to make her run away and leave their property. That is sadly a reality, and just how some people act towards dogs - as if they are nothing. CLAIRE is the leader of the pack, so the other pups knew too follow her, and run away when the cruelty took place. Sad but true. CLAIRE is great in a crate!! She stays in it all night long without a peep - until she needs to go potty, then she will let you know - which is a wonderful thing ! This will help her continue her potty training to become 100% housebroken. CLAIRE has been spayed, she has had two sets of puppy shots, bordetella, and has gotten her Rabies vaccination. She is protected from fleas, ticks, & heartworms with Advantage Multi topical, and Bravecto, which will help her coat become fuller and more beautiful. She had quite a few, like ten, hairless spots/scars from those wounds I mentioned above. However, these have almost 100% disappeared, thanks to Bravecto - check it out! (it is not mange, she has been tested for that :) CLAIRE has been microchipped, and is registered through www.petlink.net - this will be transferred into your name upon adoption. CLAIRE'S adoption donation is $375 which covers all the vet care that she has received, and all fees associated with her microchip. Please contact krun11@sbcglobal.net for more information !!
